Welcome to the 77TH Cavalry's 37th Annual Invitational

Dear Participants and Guests,Welcome to the 37th Annual Chino Invitational Band Review and Field Show Tournament.
We are thrilled to be hosting such a stellar group of marching bands and pageantry. A total of 51 high school and middle school bands will be performing in 42 parade performances and 30 field show performances throughout the day, the most performances we have seen here for many years.

We are grateful for the continuing support of the City of Chino and the Chino Valley Unified School District. We thank the Chino High School 77th Cavalry Band, Auxiliary Units, Chorale, Boosters, alumni, sponsors, advertisers, and many volunteers for making the Chino Invitational such a successful tradition. We would also especially like to thank the residents and businesses along the parade route for their patience, understanding, and cooperation. Most of all we thank the extremely talented marching bands that make this event one of the most popular and prestigious marching band events in California.

Countless hours of rehearsal and preparation go into the performances you will witness . Every group, from the smallest to the largest, has an enormous amount of time and effort invested in their performance and in some cases a sizeable monetary investment as well. Please encourage their performances with your enthusiastic applause. We urge you to attend other competitive events to follow the success of these great groups and help sponsor the activity.

We invite you to sit back and enjoy the premiere event of the season, the 2007 Chino Invitational Band Review and Field Show Tournament! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 38th Annual Chino Invitational, to be held Saturday, November 1st, 2008.
